Waseca lakes reopen days after wastewater release; other communities still releasing
Amid catastrophic flooding estimated to have caused over $50 million in damages in one county alone, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is reporting that nearly 100 wastewater treatment facilities across the state were forced to release untreated or partially treated sewage. Among the local cities forced to release sewage into area lakes and streams were Owatonna and Waseca. Health care fraud, Wisconsin woman indicted in $1.4M scheme
MILWAUKEE - A grand jury indicted a Wisconsin woman in connection to a $1.4 million health care fraud scheme, prosecutors announced on Thursday. According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, 47-year-old Lori Butts of Wales defrauded Wisconsin Medicaid and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. She is charged with eight counts of health care fraud and eight counts of wire fraud.

MOUNTAIN IRON, Minn. - The Arrowhead Library System will be experiencing phone outages next week. The headquarters in Mountain Iron will be upgrading their system on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 2-3. Calls will not be possible during that time. Email will still be accessible and staff will be available at their personal or general contact. The phone number will stay the same once upgrades are complete. Additionally, the library will be closed on July 4 for the holiday.
