Will also serve as pastor of Springfield’s Asbury UMC. The Bois D’Arc United Methodist Church has a new pastor in the pulpit. Rev. Rachel Zahn Stone assumed leadership of the church on Monday, July 1. She succeeds Rev. Susan Schmalzbauer, who was the church’s pastor for three years.
Woman killed, juvenile injured after being hit by car in Phelps County
ST JAMES, Mo. — A pedestrian was killed and another was hospitalized after being struck while crossing the highway in St. James. According to a post from the St. James Police Department, a 31-year-old woman and a juvenile were crossing the roadway at about 9 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of North Jefferson Street and State Highway B, located just off of Interstate 44. Police did not share the exact age of the juvenile.

Goldie was born at 7:25 a.m. and weighed 5 pounds 10 ounces and was 18.5 inches long. Theodore was born a minute later, at 7:26 am, weighing 5 pounds 9 ounces and measuring 19 inches long.
