Mountain Village's Market on the Plaza Kicks off June 12

The Town of Mountain Village today announced that its annual Market on the Plaza will kick off Wednesday, June 12, and run each Wednesday through Sept. 11. 2024.

Mountain Village’s Heritage Plaza will be packed with tents each Wednesday. Vendors will be selling farm-fresh produce and food, crafts, and health products and other things at the Market. The Market will run from 11 am to 4 pm each week with live music each week from 12 pm to 4 pm.

“The Market on the Plaza is sold out once again this summer with over 40 vendors bringing a wide variety of goods and produce to Mountain Village every Wednesday,” said Community Engagement Coordinator and Market Manager Molly Norton. “We are excited to welcome back many of our favorite vendors and introduce our guests to some new exciting offerings. Coffee, specialty chocolates, churros, gardening, and art are just some of the new additions this year."

"We are also excited to welcome the Wok of Joy back to Mountain Village. On Wednesdays they’ll be set up both at their new food trailer in Conference Center Plaza as well as within the market," Norton added.

The market is now in its 14th year.

"Market on the Plaza is a vibrant local community market that provides an avenue to support regional and local businesses that offer homegrown food and homemade products, along with a variety of programming for kids and their families and live music," said an email from the Town.

"Shoppers can expect to find an array of farm produce, including eggs, fruits and vegetables, goat milk and cheeses, jams and marmalades, garden herbs and more. In addition, the Market offers the perfect lunch venue with a variety of food vendors and Mountain Village businesses offering tacos, sandwiches and other eats."
