Mayor Ras Baraka joined the United Community Corporation and the city’s Center for Hope to officially open the Hyatt Courts community refrigerator on Wednesday. “It’s an opportunity for people in the community to have access to this food a couple times a week, without pay, as long as it is available,” said Baraka. “Especially with the high cost of living, high cost of groceries, the high cost of rent, the high cost of everything in this country. . .
