    UPDATE: Evacuation center set up for Thorp Road Fire at Union Gap School

    MOXEE, Wash. -- 12:45 a.m. - Yakima Valley Emergency Management says the American Red Cross has set up an evacuation center for the Thorp Road Fire in Moxee. The center is at the Union Gap School, located at 3201 South 4th Street in Union Gap.

    Evacuation Orders:

    LEVEL 3 GO NOW!

    Thorpe Road and Birchfield Road.

    Birchfield Road straight across Rattlesnake Ridge to Yakima Valley Highway.

    Yakima Valley Highway and I-182 to Thorpe Road.

    Thorp Road to Birchfield Road.

    Yakima Fire crews are on scene of a large wildfire which prompted level 3 (GO NOW!) evacuations.

    Fire crews responded to the call for help around 11 p.m. in the 300 block of Alps Road.

    Level 3 (GO NOW!) evacuations are in place for Alps Trailer Park and Thorp Road. Anyone in the surrounding area of 1600 Thorpe Road is urged by officials to get your family and pets and leave the area.

    The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Fire crews will remain on scene for several hours.

    It's unknown if anyone is hurt.

    This is a developing story and will be updated as officials confirm information.
