LIVE BLOG: Updates on the Thorp Road fire in Moxee

MOXEE, Wash. -- A massive fire near Moxee has prompted several level 3 (GO NOW!) evacuations.

T he American Red Cross has set up an evacuation center for the Thorp Road Fire in Moxee. The center is at the Union Gap School, located at 3201 South 4th Street in Union Gap.

With evacuation notices active, conditions can quickly change. Check back here hourly for updates.

Fire Information:

5 p.m.: Yakima Valley Emergency Management says all evacuation levels remain the same at this time for the Thorp Road/Konnowac Pass Fire

2 P.M.: No new information has been released.

1 P.M.: Yakima County Fire District 4 - East Valley said the Thorp Road Fire is at a 4th alarm. The fire is more than 2000 acres and state assistance has been approved.

BLM, DNR and fire service organizations in Washington state can respond to the fire.
