Bremen man killed in Muhleberg Co. head-on collision
Kentucky State Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision in Muhlenberg County that killed a Bremen man Tuesday afternoon. According to a news release, it happened just before 3 p.m. on Kentucky Highway 70 West near Central City when a vehicle driven by 61-year-old Quinton Basham of Bremen was heading east when for an unknown reason, a vehicle operated by 67-year-old Tammy Harris of Central City entered the eastbound lanes while heading west.

CENTRAL CITY, Ky. – Kentucky State Police are investigating a two-vehicle fatal collision that killed a Bremen man on a Central City highway. At approximately 2:51 p.m. Tuesday, KSP Post 2 was contacted by the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office to investigate a two-vehicle fatal collision on Kentucky Highway 70 west near Central City.
One Killed In Muhlenberg County Accident
CENTRAL CITY (07/02/24) – Kentucky State Police say a Muhlenberg County man was killed in a head-on collision Tuesday afternoon near Central City. A statement from the Madisonville post said a vehicle driven by 67-year-old Tammy Harris of Central crossed the centerline of Kentucky Highway 70 and struck an on-coming vehicle driven by 61-year-old Quinton Basham of Bremen. Basham was pronounced dead at the scene, while Harris was taken to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville for treatment.
