Pa. winery closing down, with part of the property for sale for $2M
Maple Springs Vineyard, one of the top producers of quality wine in the state, will for all intents and purposes close at the end of July. Owner Marianne Lieberman confirmed on Wednesday that parts of her property at 91 Nuss Road in Bechtelsville, Berks County, were recently put on the market for $1.995 million.
Berks Book Bonanza to Hold Mini Sale This September
Berks Book Bonanza will once again open its doors to the public for the annual gently used book sale scheduled to run Friday, Sept. 20, through Sunday, Sept. 22, at the County of Berks South Campus location, 400 E. Wyomissing Ave., Mohnton. This will be the organization’s first sale since 2021 when it left its temporary residence at the Berkshire Mall.
