Kingsland Ordinance Prohibits Trucks On City Streets
KINGSLAND - With two streets being freshly paved for the first time, Mayor Sharon Crosby reminded the Kingsland City Council during its meeting last Thursday that the city has an ordinance that forbids heavy trucks and trailers from using city streets that are not designated as truck routes. In addition, the city council formally approved a revised ordinance raising the fines for loose dogs; learned about new street lights that will be going up; and heard a brief presentation from new Cleveland County School District Superintendent Davy King.Crosby went over Ordinance 2007-8 after Holman Street and Bear State Street were paved for the first time earlier this month.
