Pitman's Sharkey twins support each other through the highs, lows and milestones
As young kids, they were always trying to outdo each other on the baseball field, constantly battling to see who could hit the ball harder, throw it farther or run faster. That sense of healthy competition has stayed with twin brothers Brayden and Connor Sharkey as they’ve gotten older, but at the same time, there’s never been a question of their support for one another. It was there growing up and throughout their recently completed careers at Pitman — which was historic for one of them — and it will remain for the next chapter, however it unfolds.

Burlington County under a flash flood warning until early Monday
On Sunday at 7:59 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning in effect until Monday at midnight for Burlington County. "At 7:59 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly," says the weather service. "Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low-lying areas."
