WICHITA, Kan. â Former Wichita State men's basketball player Henry Carr, died early Tuesday morning, according to a post on X from Antoine Carr. Carr played 108 games for the Shockers from 1983-87, making 74 starts. He averaged seven points and nearly five rebounds during his four-year tenure in Wichita.

The MOTR Q-Line route operates 6:15 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays and 6 a.m. to midnight on Saturdays, with service every 20 minutes during museum hours.

Shafter Boxing Club shines at Olympics
The Shafter Boxing Club traveled to Wichita, Kansas, last weekend to compete in the National Junior Olympics. Mike Ayon, the director of the club, took 10 boxers for the competition and they came home with five medals, two silver and three bronze, making it the most successful Olympics for the local boxers in its history.
