Sheriff investigating death of Kansas teen in crash near lake
DOUGLAS COUNTY—A Kansas teen died in an accident near Clinton Lake in Douglas County. The victim of the crash has been identified as 17-year-old Brody Minton of Lawrence, according to a media release from the Douglas County Sheriff. Family members reported him missing on Monday and law enforcement had attempted to find him. Douglas County sheriff's deputies searched Monday and Tuesday searched extensively including the campgrounds at Clinton Lake and were working to locate his vehicle in the area.
