Heroines and Heroes is moving to 2026 Central St. in Evanston, a larger storefront about 1 mile from its current location at 1129 Central in Wilmette. CHICAGO (CBS) – A former standout college football star with a criminal history was charged with sexually abusing a foster child in the care of a Chicago facility.The center, Aunt Martha's, was already in the middle of an investigation after multiple other workers there were accused of abuse.Trulon Henry, a manager at Aunt Martha's, was arrested and charged last week with sexually abusing a young girl in the care of the facility's integrated care center. Northwestern's law school discriminates against white men, lawsuit claims
A new lawsuit accused Northwestern University's Law School of discriminating against white men.The complaint was filed in federal court by a conservative group called, "Faculty, Alumni and Students Opposed to Racial Preferences."The plaintiffs argued that "left-wing" administrators were violating anti-discrimination provisions by hiring women and people of color over white men with better credentials.Northwestern said it intends to fight the lawsuit, which follows a Supreme Court decision last year to invalidate race-conscious admissions at Harvard University.

11 injured in West Chatham crash involving CTA bus: Chicago fire officials
Eleven people were taken to various hospitals after a crash involving a CTA bus Tuesday, Chicago fire officials said.The crash took place sometime Tuesday morning near 76th Street and South Lafayette Avenue in the city's West Chatham neighborhood.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. NCAA, Former Northwestern Assistant Baseball Coach Reach Agreement on Recruiting Violations
Northwestern and former baseball assistant coach Brian Anderson have reached an agreement with NCAA enforcement staff on recruiting violations and the appropriate penalties for those violations. A Committee on Infractions panel has approved the agreement. HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. - Hoffman Estates police have launched an investigation after shots were fired during a home invasion in the northwest suburb. Officers received a report of a home invasion around 10 p.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Kettering Road. Upon arrival, police saw evidence of forced entry on the front door and bullet holes in the drywall of the residence.
