Pickleball Association shines at Farmer’s Market
The Garrettsville Pickleball Association (GPA) gave a resounding yes to the invitation from the Chamber of Commerce to showcase their skills at the Farmer’s Market on July 18th. The GPA had the fun opportunity to encourage and engage community members in learning and playing the fastest growing sport in the United States for the last three consecutive years. The ongoing cutbacks across Alpha Media stations has ended the 10am-12pm talk show on 1460 WHBC Canton OH as host Jordan Miller as been let go from the company. Miller has hosted “Live and Local” on WHBC for the past three years, which has now been placed by the Dave Ramsey Show. WHBC Content Director Pam Cook told the Canton Repository, “It was a really tough decision but something that had to be done due to the financial issues with Alpha Media.” Miller also hosted weekends/fill-ins at sister Hot AC “Mix 94.1” WHBC-FM and was the only cut at the two stations.
