NEW MADRID COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A southeast Missouri man is accused of trying to “make a connection” with an 11-year-old girl. Kenneth W. Rye, 30, of Parma, is being held at the New Madrid County Jail on a warrant for enticement of a child. His bond was set at $250,000 cash only.

Juvenile arrested after threatening another with a firearm in Carbondale
CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A juvenile has been arrested after threatening another with a firearm in Carbondale. On July 19th around 10:45pm, police received a complaint about a male in possession of a handgun and threatening a store manager in the 500 block of East Main Street. The male was not immediately located, but a few hours later police received another complaint of someone with a firearm and similar vehicle description.
