It’s flood cleanup time in Muscatine!

The United Way of Muscatine and the City of Muscatine are hosting a one-day event to clean up flood debris on the riverfront and they need the public’s help. Volunteers will meet at the Riverview Center, 1-51 Harbor Drive, the two-story red brick building at the Cedar Street entrance to Riverside Park, on August 6 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Volunteers and city staff will work to remove silt and clean up the landscape beds on the riverfront.

“We’re looking forward to coming together as a community to restore our riverfront to the beautiful place we all enjoy,” said Hilary Henke, Community Engagement Manager for the United Way of Muscatine.
