Fox, who will be a senior at Lake Orion this fall before heading to play at Michigan State, ended stroke play in the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship at Oakland Hills Country Club on Tuesday night with an 18 over par total, missing the cut for Wednesday’s match play.

Judge exceeds guidelines in sentencing Lake Orion man for ‘horrific’ attack on ex-girlfriend
A Lake Orion man was sentenced this week to at least 26 years in prison for what prosecutors called a “horrific” attack on his ex-girlfriend. Adam Richard Williams, 35, received a sentence of 26 to 50 years in prison after having been convicted on charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, home invasion and aggravated domestic violence.
