Two drivers injured in three-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon
A three-vehicle traffic crash in Marlette Township Wednesday evening saw two drivers injured but the third unharmed. Sanilac County Central Dispatch received a report of an accident around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, on Van Dyke Road near Reynolds Road. Sanilac County Sheriff’s deputies, along with the Marlette Fire Department and Marlette EMS, were dispatched to the scene.

Men's Soccer Falls in High-Octane Match to Wolverines
Ann Arbor, Mich. - The Golden Grizzlies and the Michigan Wolverines delivered on a highly-anticipated early season matchup in Ann Arbor on Sunday. The game began with a slow, methodical feel to it as the favor slanted in favor of Michigan. The Wolverines controlled much of the possession for the opening 10 minutes, keeping the ball on Oakland's half. Despite Michigan's pressure, the Golden Grizzlies' back line of defense stood tall and repeatedly cleared the ball, holding the Wolverines' runs to no real danger.

Police officials have launched a massive investigation into an Oakland County doctor accused of secretly filming people at multiple hospitals, homes, and a swim club. Although not an employee, Dr. Oumair Aejaz of Rochester Hills is an internist who held credentials at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc and Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township.

A call regarding a dog attacking chickens led Michigan State Troopers from Lapeer to discover almost 25 farm animals being neglected in St. Clair County. Troopers responded to a complaint yesterday, August 26, regarding dogs attacking a neighbor’s chickens in Burtchville. However, preliminary investigation instead led to numerous animals being discovered on the property without food, water or proper living conditions.
