We had staffing troubles, we had budget woes, and we, frankly, didn't know how we were going to get there. And last year, we were granted a one-time special grant through the state of Michigan, and just really blessed to be able to put the plan into motion."The new fire station, Station Number 12, will be located at the corner of Kalamazoo Avenue and Kendall Street.Station Numer 12 will be a drive-through two-bay station with private living spaces, a modern kitchen, and a fitness area for the 12 assigned firefighters.Since the groundbreaking ceremony has happened, the fire station construction is expected to be finished in the fall of 2025.So, you do not have to wait much longer for this new fire station to be up and running.</div></body>
