Palmetto Police searching for burglary suspects
PALMETTO, Fla. (WWSB) - Palmetto Police are searching for two burglary suspects. According to police, at 2:20 am on July 17th, a burglary occurred at the CVS Pharmacy located at 945 8th Avenue West. Surveillance video captured a silver Mitsubishi SUV back up to the front doors and the passenger exit the vehicle. The vehicle then backed through the front doors of the store allowing the passenger to enter. The passenger retrieved a cable from the back of the SUV and wrapped it around an ATM machine located near the front door. The driver of the SUV then pulled forward, tearing the ATM in half. The passenger then secured the cable to the lower half of the SUV and attempted to remove it but, was unsuccessful. The passenger got back into the SUV and the vehicle fled the scene.
