The Monroe Police Department and Fire Department Unions worked together to make the donations possible, demonstrating their constant dedication to helping the community. According to officials, the collected supplies will be made available at the Monroe School Board Central Office, where they will be dispersed to families in need throughout the school year.

The Monroe Fire and Police Departments have once again demonstrated what it means to serve our community. By helping our students start the school year equipped and ready to learn, they are making an investment in our future. I am proud of their commitment to our children and our city.
