    Great Arkansas Cleanup and Hunter education course to take place at Logoly State Park in September

    McNEIL, Ark . (KTVE/KARD)– On Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Logoly State Park will host a trash pickup and park beautification event as part of the Great Arkansas Cleanup. This event will occur at the park on 131 Columbia Road 459, Magnolia and Admission is free.

    According to El Dorado News-Times, this event is part of a statewide program co-sponsored and presented by Keep Arkansas Beautiful. At 8:30 AM, volunteers will meet at the visitor center to get supplies, an assigned area to work, and a free t-shirt. According to officials, a free Hunter Education course will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, and Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the park.

    The course is 10 hours and will be held from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, and from 1 PM to 5 PM on Sunday. To participate, register online and purchase a hunting license in Arkansas. According to officials, anyone born after December. 31, 1968, must complete a Hunter Education course.
