Louisiana State Police investigating Madison Parish homicide

TALLULAH, La. (KTVE/KARD) — On Sunday, September 8, 2024, around 1:50 AM, the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office (MPSO) requested Louisiana State Police/CID/Detectives-Monroe Field Office to investigate a homicide that occurred inside the city limits of Tallulah.

The initial investigation revealed that a shooting occurred in the 200 block of Thomas Street, which resulted in the death of one victim. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
