    West Monroe high school student accused of threatening to “shoot up” the school; arrested

    WEST MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD)— On September 9, 2024, the West Monroe Police Department responded to a threats complaint at a high school in West Monroe, La. According to authorities, a teacher stated that he heard a student allegedly say ” I’m going to shoot up this school”.

    The teacher stated that other students were around when the alleged statement was made. According to authorities, the principal identified the student as Ladarrius Williams. The school principal mentioned that Williams allegedly admitted that he made the statement and provided a written statement.

    According to officers, Williams was placed under arrest and advised of his Miranda Rights. Williams was transported to the Ouachita Correctional Center and charged with Terrorizing.
