The Union County Fair is here in EL Dorado

EL DORADO, Ark. (KTVE/KARD) — The Union County Fair is back. They kicked off the festivities Tuesday at 5pm. The rides that everyone knows, and loves are back. Funnel cakes, caramel apples, lemonade, and more are being sold just like previous years. It is a great event for everyone to come out and have fun. The fair also showcases a beautiful exhibit. People volunteer from all over Union County to showcase their creative talents. Once everyone has brought their items in, the judges get together and pick the best items based on the category. The winning items get displayed right in the front of the exhibit when you walk in. KTVE/KARD spoke with Cynthia Ford and Christa Mazzanti for more on the exhibits at the fair.

It showcases all the things. They get a free pass to get to come in. And the main thing is we get to see, you know they get to look and see how their items compare with other people’s items that they bring in.

The fair will be open until Saturday of this week. If you missed the opening, you have plenty of time to still go enjoy the fun.
