The session included men and women from 47 states, the District of Columbia, and Guam, as well as members of law enforcement agencies from 26 countries, seven military organizations, and seven federal civilian organizations.

Bacle joined OPSO on August 1, 1994, at Ouachita Correctional Center and transferred to the Uniform Patrol Division after 13 months; during that time, he served on the SWAT Team and SWAT Sniper and was promoted to Sergeant until Jan. 2011, when he was promoted to Lieutenant.

After years of serving in that role, he was promoted to Captain of the Training Division, his current role. In this role, Bacle is responsible for all state-mandated training and job-related training each division requires, as well as maintaining records for OPSO employees.

Bacle is the Director of the North Delta Regional Training Academy, where law enforcement officers from 12 parishes of Northeast Louisiana train to become POST Certified.

Internationally known for academic excellence, the FBI Academy offers 10 weeks of advanced communication, leadership, and fitness training.

Sheriff Marc Mashaw and the OPSOs are incredibly proud to welcome Captain Bacle back home and congratulate him on being part of the esteemed group of FBI National Academy Session 291 graduates in Quantico, Va.
