Golden Hurricane strikes Bulldogs Comeback

Ruston, La. (KTVE/KARD) — The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs had a lot of notable headlines that could serve as the summary of their matchup against Tulsa, but none struck a bigger question mark than starting quarterback Jack Turner being benched for backup Blake Baker.

The Bulldog found themselves down 10 points before fighting back for the lead, but the quarterback carousel led to the Bulldogs eventually fumbling away a win in overtime with third string quarterback Evan Bullock taking a sack and giving the ball away and that led to the Golden Hurricane putting an end to the game with a field goal to secure the 23-20 victory.
