Search underway for Ouachita Parish native last seen in California

WEST MONROE, La. ( KTVE/KARD )– Authorities are attempting to locate Gabby Reno of Ouachita Parish. Gabby moved to California in June 2023.

Reports indicate Gabby’s sister planned a visit for the first week of September 2024 but didn’t hear from Gabby. Officials learned that Gabby was dating a man named Jay, whom the family didn’t know well but believed he was controlling. Reports also state the family’s final communication with Gabby was on August 23, 2024, and the family believed the messages were sent by Jay.

Gabby reportedly quit her job about a month ago, and Gabby and Jay were last known to be staying in their car. If you have any information, contact the Ouachita Parish Sheriff at (318) 329-1200.
