That’s 1630 bbls per day or approximately 68,500 gallons per day. That’s about enough to fuel 10 737-800 aircraft per day. There are 556 passenger flights alone out of SeaTac each day. The fuel produced would take care of 1.8% of the flights. If there were an actual market for this fuel, private industry would fund it themselves. This is just a government induced distortion of the market.
