    San Francisco Police make two arrest after major bust nets over 900 grams of illegal narcotics in two-month sting

    SAN FRANCISCO, California — San Francisco police arrested two suspects involved in narcotics trafficking and seized 927 grams of illegal narcotics on Thursday night.On August 8, 2024, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers from the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) executed search and arrest warrants, leading to the seizure of suspected Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Base Cocaine, Heroin, Salt Cocaine, and other evidence related to narcotics trafficking, according to the department.The arrests followed a two-month investigation by the SFPD Narcotics Unit into a known narcotics trafficker with pending cases in San Francisco Superior Court. Officers developed probable cause to obtain search warrants for a motor home (RV) parked in San Francisco, the suspect's vehicle, and two residences in Oakland, California.SFPD Narcotics Unit investigators coordinated with SFPD Plainclothes Teams from Tenderloin, Northern, and Central District Stations, along with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners, to assist in the investigation, conduct the search warrant service, and make the arrests.Officers detained a 32-year-old female, Fany Reanos-Moreno, who was driving a vehicle at Van Ness Avenue and Market Street. Reanos-Moreno was arrested on felony charges related to narcotics trafficking, police said.A 57-year-old male, Alexander Wyatt, was detained inside a motor home parked on the 1000 block of Turk Street during the search warrant service. Wyatt was arrested for possession of brass knuckles, resisting/delaying arrest, possession of narcotics, and an outstanding arrest warrant from the San Joaquin Sheriff's Office, according to the SFPD.The SFPD expressed gratitude for the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the San Francisco Sheriff's Office, and the Army National Guard, who were instrumental in the investigation. "The SFPD will continue to prioritize efforts to address the drug crisis in our city by holding individuals who sell illegal narcotics accountable," stated the department.Although arrests have been made, the case remains an open and active investigation.
