Deputies and therapists celebrate national recovery month at Fairmont Park in California

RIVERSIDE, California — Deputy Rael, along with Clinical Therapists De La Cruz and Lopez, joined the Riverside University Health System at Fairmont Park to celebrate National Recovery Month.The event, held today, was a free and family-friendly day of celebration aimed at honoring community members in long-term recovery from mental health and substance abuse disorders. National Recovery Month, celebrated each September, highlights the vital role of recovery and promotes the message that help is available for those struggling with substance abuse disorders and mental health, according to the Cabazon Sheriff's Station.
