Midd Field Hockey, Soccer Win VT Match Ups

MIDDLEBURY, VT – The 6-time defending national champion Middlebury field hockey team opened the season at fellow Vermont school, Castleton. With the Middlebury men’s soccer team hosting the Norwich Cadets, also for the first games of the year.

The Panther women would score 4 goals in the first half, winning 7-0. They are now a perfect (13-0) verse the Spartans all-time. And Midd Field hockey has now won 31 straight games dating back to 2022.

Middlebury men’s soccer enter the regular season ranked 5th nationally and left the first game with a 4-0 win. A win that came against former Middlebury assistant coach, Rob Emmett, who was making his coaching debut with Norwich.
