Forever Home EXTRA: Sesame’s foster Mom speaks very highly of him

We’re trying something new to help give pets in our ‘Forever Home’ series a bit more visibility so they have a better opportunity of getting adopted. Let’s start by offering up a testimonial from Sesame’s foster paw-rent who has been caring for this lover boy since he was taken in by Queen City Cats. Here’s what Sue, a foster Mom with Queen City Cats, had to boast about when it came to Sesame.

Sue mentions that, “he’s a very solid personality and is quite calm and regal. He seems to listen and understand what you tell him. This sweet boy is very lovable and affectionate once he gets to know you.  He communicates with his eyes.  Sesame is quite content in his foster room but also loves attention and playtime!  He really gets into play so make sure he plays with toys and not hands”.

It’s not all about playtime and obtaining your love for this cat, though. Sesame really thinks highly of himself! Sue says, “last but not least, Sesame loves looking at his handsome face in the mirror and seems very taken with his own reflection.  He loves to spread the love and is quite a faithful friend.  He’s a real charmer and has been a joy to foster.  This big guy has a very nice way about him and really appreciates being treated respectfully.  Oh, and he loves a good brushing.  He’s quite the proud lion”.

As far as Sesame playing nice with others, Sue made sure to point out that, “Sesame may get along with other cats but he has not been around other cats in his foster home even though he knows there are other felines in the house.  He’s curious but doesn’t force his way out of his room to check things out.  He does seem quite content with his own company and he loves his people.”

Let’s hope that these attributes as described by the person, right now, that knows him the best will altogether help get Sesame into a new, loving home. He was the star of the show on Forever Home Tuesday and we’re hoping he gets some interest for adoption by the end of this week.
