Rare Day at Linney, Results in a Storm

MINEVILLE, NY – For the first time in decades, the Moriah Viking football team was playing a home game at Linney Field as a DAY GAME!

Saranac Lake, who is used to playing afternoon games on Saturdays, would take advantage and win their second game of the year, escaping Linney with a 20-18 win.

After a touchdown from Cooper Allen on the second play of the game, the Redstorm would score back to back touchdowns to go up 13-6 at the half.

It was back and forth in the final 24 minutes with the Vikings trailing by two points on their final drive, they would go for the 2 point conversion, but would be unsuccessful and fall at home.
