Richford man accused of shooting neighbor with BB gun

A Richford man is due in court in St. Albans Monday afternoon on an allegation that he shot a neighbor of his with a BB gun.

Rene Robitaille , 42, is accused of shooting a neighbor on School Street just before 3:30 Friday afternoon. Vermont State Police have not disclosed if the alleged victim was injured. However, troopers say they arrested Robitaille on an aggravated assault charge.

Robitaille has been released from custody until his court appearance.
