This trifecta of sweet, senior pets are ready for adoption

What a lovely trip we had from the Champlain Valley to the Capitol City, all before landing in east Montpelier for this week’s Forever Home episode with the Central Vermont Humane Society. This week, we were introduced to three different pets that are currently up for adoption at CVHS.

First up is Bamm-Bamm! This is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet in your lifetime. After seeing what Bamm-Bamm is all about, you’ll be wondering to yourself, just as we are, why he has not been adopted after almost a year in CVHS’ care. Bamm-Bamm is an older gentleman who has a heart of gold and knows nothing but love.

He’s a playful fella for a little and that’s all it takes to wear him out enough to take a nap or for him to snuggle up with his favorite people. Bamm-Bamm is not just friendly and handsome, but he’s very smart and loves his food puzzles. The food puzzles offer this cutie great enrichment time which helps to keep his mind fresh as he gets older. Speaking of which, Bamm-Bamm has developed some arthritis in his older age yet he still gets around like a spring-chicken.

It’s noted that Bamm-Bamm is a little bit of a puller on the leash, but he thrives in a fenced in yard kind of setting. CVHS is even offering the free installment of a fenced in area with the adoption of Bamm-Bamm so he can get all his energy out and live his life the way he wants to live it. Again, this boy is up for adoption and just waiting for someone to love him. He’s even becoming really well socialized with not just young kids but other dogs. Bamm-Bamm is ready to go home with you today!

While at CVHS, we also got to meet Gilly and Hays who are both up for adoption. These two sweethearts are seniors as well and have kidney disease. However, their special diet keeps these two in really great health. Not to mention, they both have really low-key and laid back personalities. They will do well in a quieter home where they can follow the sun and snug up in their comfortable, fuzzy beds.

Gilly and Hays don’t need to be adopted together, but they are a dynamic duo and we would love to see them adopted into the same home so they can live out their golden years together. They each have the most beautiful markings, pinkest of noses, and they even kind of look like their smiling at you when you get them at the right angle. These two are more than ready to find a retirement home that suits them just right.
