    Northwest Florida deputies teach de-escalation techniques to health department staff

    OKALOOSA COUNTY, Florida — Deputies from the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office recently conducted a De-escalation and Positive Interactions class for staff at the Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County.Deputy Brian Muhlbach and Sgt. Jessica Trimboli, both de-escalation instructors, led the session. Drawing on their law enforcement experience and specialized training, they shared tools and strategies used by law enforcement to help Health Department staff effectively resolve challenging situations they may encounter."We're proud to help support our community partners," stated the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office.
