First Responder Friday: Timothy Munday

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — It’s time for another edition of First Responder Friday as News13 honors Grand Strand and Pee Dee first responders.

This week’s nominee is Officer Timothy Munday with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

Officer Munday is a school resource officer at Myrtle Beach Middle School. He was nominated not only for his work within the department and community but also for his hard work and dedication outside of it.

Those close to him say, whenever they’re in need of someone to talk to, or even a couch to sleep on, Officer Munday is always there. They add, whether you need a break from reality or just a night to decompress, he’s got your back.

Officer Munday works tirelessly for his fiancée and sons and is described as the literal embodiment of “I’ll give you the shirt off my back.”
