MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) –A few storms are possible this afternoon. The cold front is offshore and winds have become northerly. Still, a cloudy start to the day, and then more sunshine will break out. It will be much drier compared to yesterday and temperatures will peak in the mid to upper-80s.

The cold front will allow drier air to move in on Sunday and Monday, and we will have a couple of rain-free days with slightly more refreshing air. Dewpoints will be down in the low to mid-60s which is still sticky but it should feel a little better.

Moisture will return on Tuesday, bringing back the chance for thunderstorms for the middle of next week.
