Jaxson Dart, Walter Nolen named to preseason watch list for the Walter Camp Player of the Year
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Ole Miss football senior quarterback Jaxson Dart and junior defensive tackle Walter Nolen have both been named to the preseason watch list for the Walter Camp Player of the Year, as announced by the Walter Camp Football Foundation on Monday morning. Dart and Nolen are among 50 total on the preseason watch list, while Ole Miss is among just nine schools nationally with multiple honorees. By position, Dart is among 20 quarterbacks on the list, while Nolen is one of just nine defenders total and one of only two defensive tackles alongside Notre Dame's Howard Cross III.

Possible Gunshots on Blackjack Rd. Sunday
KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A woman who called Kosciusko Police Sunday afternoon said her boyfriend shot at her. The call came in about 3:30 on Blackjack Rd., or Attala Rd. 3034. Both Kosciusko Police and Attala County deputies responded to the scene, which was near the intersection of North Natchez St. and Blackjack Rd.
Hattiesburg man charged with murder in fatal, early-morning shooting
HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - A 36-year-old man was charged with first-degree murder in a fatal shooting that took place early Sunday morning in Hattiesburg. The Hattiesburg Police Department said that Gary Christopher Rogers, of Hattiesburg, was arrested and charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence in the shooting death of 31-year-old Markaz Moye, of Hattiesburg.
