SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Tuesday is forecast to be an even hotter day for Northern California than Monday was. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said downtown Sacramento hit 107 degrees on Monday. High temperatures on Tuesday will peak from the 102-110-degree range, with downtown Sacramento expected to reach 109 degrees. The average for this time of year is 95 degrees.
