ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Crayon-maker Crayola is searching for a former Keith Country Day School student named Matthew, in hopes of reuniting them with a drawing they did in the 1990s.

The quest is part of Crayola’s “ Campaign for Creativity ,” which attempts to recruit members of American communities to find child artists, who are now adults, and reunite them with their artwork.

Crayola says Matthew created “Yes Ma’am” as part of a 1990s program called Dream Makers.

“This is the first wave of art being returned in what Crayola hopes to be the ultimate return of all 1,000 pieces of art remaining in its archives from what was once one of the largest collections of children’s artworks in the world,” Crayola said in a press release.
