2 Rockford fire stations will be open to the community in need of shelter during severe weather

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Both the New Milford Fire and Blackhawk Fire Stations will be open to community members in need of a study structure.

Both stations will be open for the duration of the storms. In the event that significant severe weather occurs and causes damage to properties both stations will remain open for individuals affected by damage.
