Boylan rallies to stun Harlem in regional volleyball

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Harlem against Boylan was a four seed vs. five seed matchup at the Auburn Regional in boys volleyball. It was just as tight on the court Tuesday.

The match went three sets with Boylan emerging with a 13-25, 27-25, 25-19 win. Harlem looked like the better team through the first set and then into the second. The Huskies were one-point away from taking the second set and the match, but the Titans battled back to take it, and then the Titans kept the momentum going into the clinching third set.

Boylan advances to play Guilford for the regional championship on Thursday at 6pm. Guilford defeated Jefferson 25-18, 25-10 in the other semifinal match Tuesday.
