ROCKTON, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — This was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the boys’ volleyball program at Hononegah. Despite that, the Indians are celebrating a fourth straight regional championship. They won this latest one on their home court Thursday evening defeating Streamwood 25-21, 23-25, 35-33.

Streamwood came into the match with an impressive record of 25-6. The match could have gone either way as the scores indicate, but the Indians delivered in a wild third set.

Hononegah advances to the Elgin Larkin Sectional for a 5:30 p.m. match this Saturday. For highlights of this match, watch the media player above.
