    Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center to host annual ice cream social

    ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTV) – Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center will host its annual ice cream social Saturday, Aug.17.

    The event will run from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Fairhaven in the Chapel Courtyard.

    There will be sundaes with several toppings and live music by Chip Messiner. No tickets necessary. Donations are appreciated.

    The rain-or-shine ice cream social helps the center raise funds for its annual fund.

    Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center is at 3470 N. Alpine Road, across from Rockford Lutheran School.
