CHERRY VALLEY, Ill. (WTVO) — There is now a space for first responders from across the Stateline to work together in case of a major emergency.

Local leaders cut the ribbon on the new unified command center on Friday. It is located inside Cherry Valley’s village hall.

Multiple agencies from Winnebago and Boone Counties can view large monitors around the room which have drone feeds, surveillance footage and other images.

It will be available in case of a major incident, fire or weather-related event.
