POLO, Ill. (WTVO) — A Sterling man faces multiple charges after police allegedly found methamphetamine in his possession during a traffic stop, which also resulted in a citation for a loud exhaust.

Police did not disclose what model of vehicle Dustin Lindsley, 37, was driving, but said Ogle County Deputies pulled him over in the 6000 block of South Freeport Road around 1:58 a.m. Saturday morning.

During the traffic stop, police said meth was found in Lindsley’s possession. He was also charged with Driving on a Suspended License, and a Rockford Police arrest warrant. Court records show he has a 2022 conviction for retail theft and criminal trespass.

He was taken to the Ogle County Jail and later released with a notice to appear at a future court date.
