    Man shot in leg early Saturday morning in Rockford

    ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Police say multiple cars were seen driving away from the scene of a reported shooting early Saturday morning; a short time later, a man arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

    According to Rockford Police, a call came in around 3:45 a.m. reporting a shooting in the 400 block of Gregory Street.

    Police said cars were seen leaving the area when they arrived on scene.

    It was later when a 31-year-old man arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.

    Authorities said the wound was not life-threatening.
