    Illinois man charged with possession of cocaine, firearms in Lee County

    LEE COUNTY, Ill. (WTVO) — Lee County Deputies arrested Jerry Juzwiak Jr., 35, during a traffic stop for possession of cocaine and firearms among other charges.

    On September 2, around 6:14 p.m., officials stopped the suspect on Route 52 south of Amboy.

    Police used a K9 to search the vehicle and the dog alerted them to the presence of controlled substances in the car.

    Juzwiak Jr., of Westmont Illinois, is charged with armed violence, intent to deliver cocaine, three counts of possession of a firearm without a FOID, possession of cocaine and two counts of possession of firearm ammunition without a FOID.

    The suspect is currently detained at the Lee County Jail.
